Ready for Spring Excursions? by Spartoo.Gr

Clothes? Check. Shoes? Check. Cosmetic case? Check. Accessories and jewellery? Double check. I am pretty sure all you stylish ladies and gentlemen out there have already mastered your packing techniques, when it comes to traveling. But have you ever thought of the stylistic echo of your baggage?  After all, style lies in the details, doesn't it?
Well, first things come first: the synonym of a stylish traveler is a classic Samsonite piece/ set of suitcases. I still have two old pieces my mum has bought back in the 80s. And, two decades after, they still look great.  They might be a bit pricey, I agree, but their high endurance and durability, in addition to their intense sense of style, will make up for every single penny. Of course, you can always invest (quality suitcases ARE an investment, you can never question that) in other brands of equal quality, yet, more affordable like the following ones:
Just a few tips for choosing the right suitcase:
  1. It must be handy. That means, it has to be light with swirling wheels, easy to drag around, not having to worry about a hurt arm.
  2. It must have a guarantee
  3. It must have a good quality lock. And strong zippers.
  4. On the inside, a proper amount of straps and pockets is always a prerequisite.
  5. It must be light, cause modern airlines become stricter and stricter concerning their weight limits. Yes, that is personal experience talking.
  6. It has to be different from the rest, in color or in design. Not only because you are stylish (well, that is quite of a matter, too), but also because you don't wanna be caught accidentally stealing someone else's bag from the baggage carousel, just because it is similar as yours.
Any more tips would be deeply appreciated!

Froso.

My Precious

vero moda sweater, fornarina jeans, suede boots, lollipop earrings
I know, the majority of people think it's stupid having any kind of pet, other than a dog. And I would agree, if it was two years ago. Chicks with bunnies gave me that "bimbo" kind of impression, that always pushed me away. Until my sister's ex boyfriend brought us home that little fluffy princess that stole my heart forever. And -that way- I understood that it's not the kind of pet, but the love you share with it. A dog will show you love, no matter what; but if you manage to be shown love by a rodent, damn, you must be freaking special. Believe it or not, there are some times I believe -deep inside- she's a dog, coming all day to my feet, playing around, being sad when I'm away (I feel it, OK?) and cuddling in my arms watching tv. Ok, I behave like a mum now, so I am putting a fullstop.

Love you all!
(not as much as I love her, sorry)

Shoe Candy in Spartoo.gr

all images are property of Spartoo.gr

In my everyday life, I am quite the ballerina kind of girl, cause they're easygoing and comfy to walk around all day, looking elegant and classy. In my sportier days, I adore to wear different types of trainers, with a sure love for Converse (well, I bet that's way too clear if you're a regular reader of my blog). But any girl bearing the respectable burden of the Cinderella syndrome, -yes, me too- feels a strong dedication to the most feminine shoes ever: high heels.

Either platforms,  or pumps, a nice pair of sky-high shoes will compliment your dress and figure in one move. I am a huge fan of neutral colors, cause I hate getting a headache in order to match a difficult pair of shoes with a dress that is just as complicated. Just take a look at those Michael Kors beauties, or at these Sebastian ones ( I really love platforms, they look amazing with every summer dress possible, and they can be worn day and night -how amazing is that?-). Neutrals may not be enough though, so a colorful pair will renew our boring jean-white-beige dresses, or create a great color-block look. An orange pair like those Paco Gil ones or these green Casadei miracles. I am still working on it: how many pairs can be enough?

What's up?

vero moda top, ichi jeggings, all stars, ray bans, bjorn borg bag

What's up lovelies?
A day after the Easter break, and still, my head is quite dizzy. (I am not much of a drinker, so you understand). I hope you had an amazing time; personally speaking, it was quite weird being away from my family for the first time ever, and it was much harder than I thought it would be. Thank God I have a handful of amazing people around me that made my sentimental breakdowns seem funny at times. Today was a perfect day for pampering myself: I had a massage and after that I got a haircut. It didn't make much of a difference (my hair is still long, just imagine Ariel long, not Rapunzel anymore). AND -last but not least at all- tomorrow I'm having my new tattoo and I couldn't be more excited! I designed it my self (it is something written) and I think it screams me. I'll show you, as soon as it's healed. That's all for now, big kiss and hug!

Mwwwwwaaaaaaaah!!!!!!

All Star Heaven, aka Spartoo.Gr

all images are property of Spartoo.Gr

Well, this may sound a bit peculiar, but I used to hate Converse All Stars until I turned 21. I used to think of them as ugly and corny. Everybody, literally e-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y, used to have -at least- one pair, and I couldn't understand why would anybody want to look like a million others who made the same choice. And then, magically, everything became clear when I bought my first black pair. And then my pure white one. And the list is never ending.

AllStars are not just a pair of shoes, they are the concept of freedom and rebelliousness. Worn either with jeans or with a tuxedo, they instantly bring out the cool factor. First produced back in 1917 (almost a century, wow), Converse has made its attempt to capture the basketball market by giving the name of Chuck Taylor -a basketball player and shoe salesman- to the certain shoe line. Not only did they manage to conquer the basketball market, but also the worldwide shoe market in general.

Today, little do I care if I'm wearing the same shoes with a million others. And with my mum (I got her a red pair of Chucks for her birthday). And with you. In fact, I enjoy the individuality of each pair, looking the same but being so different.

And -speaking about Converse-, how many pairs do you own?

Quiz: Two pairs of the ones featured above, will be mine next week. Can you guess which ones?

Ballerina Hunting in Spartoo.gr

all images are property of Spartoo.gr
The sun is shining, spring is officially here, boots are out of question, and clothes gain all those amazing color splashes that intrigue every girl that loves fashion. What is the absolute shoe for our spring walks? Yeap, -not difficult to guess-, the ballet flat.

Personally speaking, I've always loved the classic ballerina shoe design, a simple body with a leather bow, that is. Can't get out of my head the fabulous Brigitte Bardot, with her Repetto ones, sexy and cute at the same time.
The first item to begin a mindful ballerina shoe collection is a black, patent leather pair, that will be easily worn every season, except for the summer. To compliment your collection, all you have to buy after the so called black pair, is a neutral toned one, either in beige or in gold.  You can find great instances of those classics in Geox, or in my currently favorite brand, the Pretty Ballerina (so comfy and durable, you'll love them too). After those two pairs, all you have to do is let your imagination work. Bold colors or leopard prints, red ones (I always pretend to be Dorothy when I wear mine), or a navy blue pair that will look amazing with your navy outfits.

What will be your choice for this Spring?
xoxo,
Froso.
